With the LCS roster moves basically finished it’s time to look at the winners and losers of the off-season roster shuffle. Due to the restriction of not knowing how the teams will do I will refrain from ranking them as far as where they will be placing in the spring split until I see how the teams have played a few games.

Dom Discusses: Lucky and JaCkz Join G2 for Ex6TenZ and SmithZz

Former leader shox is back at it again, and he will attempt to lead G2 into a new horizon.

G2 have announced that former 3DMAX pair Audric “JaCkz” Jug and Lucas “Lucky” Chastang will join the roster. They will replace Edouard “SmithZz” Dubourdeaux and Kevin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans, a duo who lasted mere months on the outgoing iteration of G2. The move follows lacklustre online and offline performances for the team, notably a group stage exit at the FACEIT Major 2018. Swapping out SmithZz and Ex6TenZ will definitely improve G2. Whether Lucky and JaCkz will be the knights in shining armour to rescue the lineup remains to be seen.

Gen.G Lose Three and the Korean Rumour Mill

Gen.G Drop Three

Gen.g has officially announced that they will be dropping CoreJJ, Haru, and Mong yesterday. While roster changes were expected from this team following their Worlds performance getting a single win in group stage to Cloud9. This leaves a hole in Gen.G missing out on their support, jungle and top lane roles. While top is not dire due to keeping their starter CuVee, they are lacking jungle and support players currently.
