Having been on the hunt for a coach recently, mibr have confirmed that the much-loved analyst Janko “YNk” Paunovic will fill the role.
YNk had a great career in CS 1.6, becoming an iconic IGL, and in CS:GO he has represented iNation, GamePub and aimface. He was most recently a part of Room On Fire, an internal group of CS:GO commentators and analysts. Since hanging up the mouse, YNk has enjoyed a hugely successful career as an ESL observer then as an analyst, having been on the desk in every Major from 2016 onwards, with the exception of the ELEAGUE Major Atlanta in 2017.
YNk is a much-loved community figure, and a lot of community figures such as Duncan “Thorin” Shields, have publicly supported the move. You can see the new mibr in action at the ZOTAC Cup Masters 2018 Grand Finals, on August 24th.
